Honest to Pete if I had to redo my own wedding...your ideas would be right up my alley. I love your dress and the venue...my GOD the venue. That is just an amazing place right there. The brunch idea is great.
Relaxed and beautiful...your wedding plans sound really great so far!
BTW I always thought people stressing over seating charts where nutty. Does it really matter where people sit?? LOL.
I went to a brunch wedding last May and it was awesome.
One comment re: seating charts - I was just at a wedding in October with no seating charts and (in this case) it was a little awkward as there were only largish tables. Long story short, her family took up three full tables with overflow, his family took up about a half of a table, her friends from work took up a table and her friends from college (including me) took up most of a table. Her family was all sitting in their various units and in the end, her grandmother and a random cousin ended up at our table. It was also weird with everyone milling around, grabbing seats. She said if she could do it over she would: a) get smaller tables or b) make a seating chart. Just a thought. Her tables all seated 10 each.
Oh wow, the dress you linked to is GORGEOUS! I like seeing something a bit different from the usual strapless top then super wide skirt (might be because it's a style I'm not too keen about).
Speeches at the reception. Awkward. Bouquet toss. Awkward. Garters. Awkward.
Couldn't agree more :D. And to be honest, I think I'm in love with your "fuck it" list :D.
