Tomorrow I will be heading to the Rencesvalles area of Toronto for a couple prune paczkis. I will be introducing my Brazillian co-workers to their fatty goodness. Also, apparently only Detroit, Chicago, and South Bend celebrate 'Fat Tuesday' with paczki. The rest of the world celebrates 'Fat Thursday'. If you want to know more, go to Wikipedia.

I have good news and bad news.

THE GOOD: I was accepted for graduate studies at the University of Toronto!

THE BAD: I was only accepted to the masters program...which isn't paid for.

But, you know what? This means I can move! And have dim sum as often as I please.

:)

So, The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill didn't want me either.

I just don't get it.

My thesis is almost done.

All my finals are this week.

I graduate on Saturday.

I defend my thesis the following Tuesday.

Holy crap, I am seriously almost done.

I'm almost finished with my undergraduate career. In less than two weeks I will walk, and just a week beyond that I will be completely finished. It's a really strange feeling to know your last four and a half years are quickly coming to a close. I am so eager to be done and to move on to the next stage of my life ( Read more... )
