i think i'm still looking for my vehicle.

there are so many aspects of school i miss as well. sometimes i consider what it would be like to go back although i haven't given it much serious thought. i still love to wander college campuses. and i think i would be happy going to grad school. still trying to figure it out, though. certainly struggling to find a job.

i'm so excited for you. you'll do fabulous. and your students will stop by your office just because.

lydia you could do SO MANY THINGS.

i hadn't thought seriously about going back to school until the semester started to get into swing here and i had to wander the campus a bit to do errands for work. libraries and classrooms and etc. it def planted the seed in my little brain.

job-hunting is the WORST. THE WORST. STAY STRONG, SISTER.

and your students will stop by your office just because. i love you for saying that.

woo hoo creative writing MFAs!! so fantastic. also, i think you can teach creative writing without a phD if you wanted. i'm pretty sure a bunch of my writing profs don't have their phDs. you probably (definitely) get paid more if you have it though.
what did you get your undergrad major in?

i got my BA in english!

you are still working on your undergrad degree, right christine?

yes! one point five years to go. then i will have a major in writing, with a focus in poetry! tra la la.
