When I was really young, I caught an ABC special called "the Land of Point" or "the Point" or something like that. I was entranced at the animation, the music and the story. Especially this song

It's called "The Point" and it's one of my very favorite movies of all time. I love that song and the animation and the over all "point" of the movie. I'm feeling it rather keenly just now, having been driven into the Pointless Forest recently.
It's kind of sad to think about how far we've come away from the messages of tolerance and respect for diversity that were so in vogue when I was a little kid back in the 70's.

I love it. It's such a great movie. The music alone makes it worth watching, and the story ain't so bad either!
