So, in another history making job move for me,

I've been selected to be the CG's aide de camp.

Oh yeah. What a perfect capstone for my Army career.

btw - once again the first female to ever hold this job.

:D I can't actually tell whether you're happy about this or not, but it sounds impressive to civilian years. Actually, to these civilian ears in particular, it sounds ver romantic and Napoleonic-Wars-Era. (I approve heartily of this.)
