At long last, the Purgatory commonly known as Calculus 25A is DONE! Dang, what a grind that was. I get to do more calculus in 25B this fall- but let's not think about that just now

I was much younger when I drove to Utah. Young enough that I could sit in the back of the car with a bunch of books and ignore everyone. Young enough that the backseat was still comfortable. Young enough that when I was tired, my mom would pile pillows on the floor, and I was short enough to sleep stretched out.
Instead, let us focus on summer! Glorious summer! Freedom!
;_;
I can count the number of things I have in common with my uncle, aunt and cousins on one hand with fingers to spare.
I will be there too, you know. And last time I talked to mom, she said we were flying because Dad doesn't want to take driving-time off work. Are you and mom going to Theresa's wedding? RSVP online if you are.
The steel wash came out rather well, but I think my brown ink is too light for a traditional brown wash. I tried adding Vallejo Charred Brown to darken it, but my Speedball calligraphy inks are powerful stuff.
I never saw any point in buying actual inks. And yeah, calligraphy stuff won't work. :) Just use a paint wash, that's what I always did.
Don't know what we are doing or when we are going, but we are making a fun time of this cause we will be all together. Postitive thinking here! Besides, it has been so long since you have seen this Aunt/Uncle/Cousins that you don't know what you have in common or what you don't (besides blood and genes). You could be pleasantly surprised. Most family reunions are like that. Everyone has a good time. Lots of funny stories about your folks when they were kids. **groan**
Also, don't know if we are going to wedding yet, or how that will work out. I'm trying to finalize details and will probably wait till Sacto trip is done and we know better what's what.
Congrats!! I sent you an e-mail. It'd be great to get a response ;)
Mini painting??!! I'm so jealous that you have time for such a hobby. One of these days I, too, will focus on something other than school, work, and household responsibilities. Though, I guess I can't complain that my house responsibilities revolve entirely around playing with plants.

And he somehow manages to make the drive sound fun!
You survived the drive to and from Utah. This one has to be better than that. Though, I suppose there may be less geology...
