I'm sorry boys cause so many issues, and for not getting back to you with a gift list. I know it's really easy to say "just go talk to him," but I also know that "simple" piece of advice is anything but simple. My instinct would be to hide away from the guy in question. Not only would I hide away, but think up the most pessimistic scenarios possible for how a conversation might go and convince myself that even though I'm miserable, it's for the best. In the end, though, you should do whatever you honestly think will make you emotionally healthy.

PS. If you really want to get me something for the holidays, I like the new Shakira cd (or really any of her spanish language releases). Don't feel obligated, though, because I have no idea whether I'll be able to reciprocate or not, and I don't want to be a gift hog. *hugs* I hope you have a nice restful night's sleep.

I woulda been sleeping, but I went to see the first Harry Potter at midnight and we've only just gotten home. As for the gifting business, joining the fam is gift enough. I'm getting a little homesick, and I can't wait for the lot of us to get together for some potato rolls and frisbee golf.

Three cheers for potato rolls and frisbee golf (you'll have to teach me how to play, as I actually don't know how :/) I know what you mean about the homesickness, and I haven't even been away as long as you have.

As for sleep, Harry Potter is definitely worth a little sleeplessness ^_~ I would have gone myself, but I have a standing agreement to go with Rob over Thanksgiving break. I figure I will make up for my lack of seeing Harry opening night by being first in line for Memoirs of a Geisha in December.
