Just in case anyone's wondering, "swine flu" has officially reached Seattle. There was a press conference tonight where officials stated that there were 6 probably cases in Washington, 3 of which are in Seattle.

There's no cooler feeling than knowing that someone is performing something for you. We went to the Hula Hula (a themed dive bar across the street from my apartment) for Karaoke last night (Bill and the folks from his show do it every week or so). ...I got my braces yesterday. They're clear, plastic retainers that I have to take out whenever I eat or drink (except water). The orthodontist put little "buttons" of some composite on a few of my teeth, and the retainers click onto them. It feels a little like I have peanut bits stuck to my teeth ( Read more... )

My car is now registered, licensed and permitted to park in my neighborhood. Fantastic! Two hundred and twenty-five dollars later...
