...I think you've just given me a new OTP, which totally sucks, because Lockon is STILL dead in canon, but your fanfiction puts a soothing balm over my mourning soul.

They are in-character, and you've already stated it will get dark (just as anything involving these two together SHOULD), and I'm practically shivering with anticipation for the next chapter. The set up alone leaves me wanting more like a crack addict going through withdrawal.

It stung, and Lockon took note on a subconscious level that the cloth was not the only thing the blade had cut. He watched Gary draw his hand back and flick a tongue over the blood smeared on his skin.

...is it bad that I find this scene unbearable hot and OMFGYESNAOPLS? Your writing is wonderful, vivid, fits the characters involved well, and this scene alone will keep me sitting outside your door like a starving stray dog you fed once and now won't go away until it gets another good meal.

I was never really fixated on any pairing before, but after reading the first (of many to follow) Ali/Lockon fic, I was like...OTP! Definitely OTP!!! ^^ And I became obsessed all over again. (I know, I know, he's still dead, but I tend to conveniently forget that fact sometimes ^^;)

I would come up with a REALLY good compliment for this fic, but all I can think is that it's set my mind up for a quiet deadly eventual conclusion. It's got a sedate pace, which is always good, it's subtly dark and your use of diction is so good that I don't just -read- them, I can -see- the images they evoke, so it's more like watching a movie than reading a fic.

wow, thank you for your compliments! I was always a bit self-conscious about diction since I think my range of vocabulary is severely limited, but it's good to know that you think otherwise ^.^

To be honest, I haven't even /thought/ about a conclusion for this, which is pretty unusual for me when I write something. But I guess it'll come as I write ^^;
