my sewing is never done

argh..remind me again why  I sew? I guess I shouldn't complain really, I do it to myself. I've got some nifty looking braies going on for myself. Trying out a pattern as I had someone ask me to make some. Soft white linen to cover my bum! Told my husband about them, and whats the first thing he asks..
"Do they come off easy?" Cheeky monkey!

Tunics

The tunics fitted very well. Annabelle (CG) was thrilled by them and looks forward to thanking you in person (Baron's Howe). I do believe we have a few photos of L'lyn in the tunics but the film is still in the camera. Thank-you very much. We also took the two red toys with us for L to play with.

Braes

Braes come off very easily as I know from first hand experience. (Later your husband can tell me if his experience is similar).

The real issue is whether you are concerned about putting them back on again. Depending how long the draw string is I find I need to tie the two ends back together, after loosening the string for braes removal, to prevent one end disappearing into the waist band. That procedure tends to get forgotten when one's lover is involved.

Will you be making chauses (hose)? If yes I strongly recommend wool.
