Drive Slow

Unlike the last few days where I was saddled with an extraordinary amount of pain and discomfort, today was actually fantastic. More days like this would be highly appreciated. I’m so glad you’re feeling stronger today! Take those good days when you get them remember that it’s a sign you’re getting better! It’s also a sign of what’s to come! Soon you’ll have more good days than bad and you’ll be so impressed with how far you’ve come!

I hope you’re placed within your region of choice! I totally understand not wanting Tokyo, but I appreciate your maturity in accepting placement where it comes. I personally find it kind of snobby to give reasons like “I hate the cold” for not accepting a placement, but like you said, that’s their business. I’m excited for you and can’t wait to hear where your officially landing (though it does seem like the “errored” email might be an indicator, haha!

Therapy was solid today. I'm almost able to flex my arm and shoulder normally!

Regarding Japan, I've actually got some news in the next entry about that.

Rehabilitation, I get the point of it, it just takes too long! Don't screw up your shoulder in a rush to get back to full health though!

Surely those folks rejecting non-Tokyo placements realise that they can travel there in their time off-work right?! People are ridiculous.
