The problem with understanding the world is that we are limited by thought. Thoughts and conclusions can only be based on what we know. Our experience. We can't know everything so we can't truly understand the universe and our place in it through thought alone. Besides,thought and reality are not the same thing. wow- it's like...you stole peeks inside my head. *checks for cracks* that is SO what i believe/ how i think. awesome! i wish everyone recognised all of this. do you think everyone does at some point but then chooses what to do with this? i don't know...

I guess that's what I meant by facing demons. I'm writing this on such a lack of sleep that it's like I'm taking each word individually. I can't see how each relates to the others and how each sentence relates to the whole of what I've written. I have no idea if any of this makes sense. Short answer. I don't think most people look into themselves deeply enough to see this stuff. They do their best to distract themselves from it. by doing all the crap I just said. Looking for outside approval, looking for beliefs to follow. Yatta yatta

very nice. yeah, i think that a lot of people see things that they just don't act on. for instance, i think that a lot of people know that they are putting on a mask for 'success' but they just don't wish to take it off. well, yeah, nice comment, thank you.
