Day 8: The egg is exhibiting minor movements, but no signs of cracks are present in the egg. It is still unclear when it will come out. I will continue to keep the egg under watch, despite lacking a proper incubator.

Unfortunately, if I can't think of a scientific conclusion and no one else seems to be capable of either, then referring to it as magic is simply the only way.

When it hatches, there's a lot of, uh, flashing from the egg. And then you get the Pokémon.

Sounds dangerous. Maybe there's a bomb inside that's used to break it. ...Ahh, no that's pretty stupid.
