I hate bugs!

We have pantry moths. We first noticed them on Tuesday, and they've been outstripping our ability to kill them. So today has been clean-the-kitchen-to-the-walls day

I keep reading that as "panty moths", and it's distressing the hell out of me.

It's a (perhaps un)remarkably common typo on the assorted sites about how to deal with these nasties.

Thankfully, if those exist, I'm not aware of it.

Ugh. Pantry moths suck suck suck. I think if you focus on the food areas, things like the radiator cover and behind the fridge are probably not a concern. I know how well my mom does at cleanouts like these, and I know she's gotten rid of pantry moths several times. In all those times, I don't think she even opened the canning cabinet, just dealt with the foodstuffs on the shelves in the pantry and was done with it. And with them.

Do you know what she does to get rid of tem, besides disposing of the food?

This used to happen to my family when I was a kid. We would get rid of the food and then "moth bomb" the house. This does involve having the ability to leave the house for a while, though I forget how many hours.
