I did something unexpected. I dropped out of grad school after one month. Two reasons prompted this decision:

Any excuse to get a new Mac!  No, not the iPhone, which I do in fact covet, but a little white MacBook laptop.  I love the smell of a new electronic.  I knew classwork would run much more smoothly with a portable computer, and that is how I justified it.  I'm so in love!

One very important event that deserves recording here is that I now have a forehead covered in thick bangs.  Yellow eyeshadow and bangs makes me feel like a very cute person.

I'd like to know why my eyes went *ping* on this Saturday morning at 6am when my alarm went off and my body sprang up in bed when Monday through Friday it takes an invisible army of mighty angels to pull me out of bed before 6:15.
