Got to do some really fun trawling out in the Puget Sound last Friday evening. It was a field trip for my ecology class, and we got hundreds of cool marine organisms: ratfish, eel pouts, numerous types of flatfish, a skate, a herring, some pollock, a stubby squid, jellyfish, and shrimp. It's through the UW. I'm gonna be studying abroad there for a month, learning about culture, climate change, and chemistry. It should be quite interesting.
