Well, I have the final Harry Potter Book now. Alisha, Danny, Kathleen, and I went to Barnes & Noble for the release party down in U Village. It was pretty crazy, there were a ton of people, but that was to be expected. Had a pretty cool 4th of July. We were blowing up fruit in the back yard, which reminded me of being back home. Afterwards, a group of us made our way over to Gasworks Park and saw the huge fireworks display. It was my first time seeing this one, and it kinda gave me chills. (I really love fireworks!) Got to do some really fun trawling out in the Puget Sound last Friday evening. It was a field trip for my ecology class, and we got hundreds of cool marine organisms: ratfish, eel pouts, numerous types of flatfish, a skate, a herring, some pollock, a stubby squid, jellyfish, and shrimp. Ahh! They have my fingerprints now! Haha. Yeah, I went over to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) to fill out more paper work and meet the guy that I’ll be working with for my summer internship.
