I miss my BDHs...

I got my hands on the Serenity comic. It is glee, and I hear their voices in my head as I read. I've missed them so much. Though the preview pencils were better, Simon actually looked like Simon in this one (mostly), as opposed to generic pretty boy. Woooo! Mal had extra comic-style muscles, which was vaguely weird though not unexpected... Also ( spoilers, though not for plot points... )

God, I enjoyed that comic so.much. Three is never going to be enough to satiate my BDH craving. But in the meanwhile, it feels GOOD. (You're totally right - you can hear the actors so well. The Buffy comics do that to me too and it's really cool.) I loved Wash and Kaylee, too, and Simon does look like Simon! (I was pretty impressed with the cover that features Simon, actually, it really looks like Sean.) And I kinda really liked the panel with "Mal" in bed with Inara. ...I can't wait to read the rest.
