I can't remember if I turned off/unplugged my space heater in the bathroom this morning :(

Normally, I make a big deal (to myself) about "Okay, it is OFF and unplugged" - sometimes I even say it outloud so I can remember later, in the event I get paranoid like this. I did not do that this morning and I can't remember if I did, and now I'm super

Glad it was off and unplugged! I hate that 'can't remember' feeling.

It's the worst! I always convince myself that it means I didn't do it because you can't remember doing something you didn't do... but it always just turns out that it was just my bad memory. Oh well, better safe than sorry!

Oy, I feel your pain. My short-term memory for things like that tends to suck too, but luckily I can usually e-mail my wife to check on things if I feel like I forgot something. :)

I wish I could do that - I'm usually the last one to leave for work :-/

Oh well, even though it's just a case of my failing memory (I am WAY too young for this!!) I felt much better about going to check. At least my job is laid back enough that I can still scarf down a lunch at my desk even though my "lunch hour" was spent- I'd be even grumpier if that was not the case :)
