i am so thankful i have karen capenter. she is my rock. my safety person. i've been injury free for weeks now and i think a lot of that is because of her. i am trying really hard. staying positive is difficult! daaaang.

i saw bob dylan and elvis costello on friday. i worked the event and couldn't watch all of the show, but i took some longs peeks. i stood outside costellos dressing room when i shouldn't have been there and made a bet with a crew member. i'm certain i would have won had i not rushed back to the main floor. i am never again working at assembly

i look like a 30 year old mother picking up her son from 1st grade. Husband is on a business trip. You couldn't read my expression under all this makeup, hairspray. i'm someone else today. my hair is dyed strawberry blonde and curled too big on my head. "Hi, Mrs. Burbecco. Was Johnny good at school today?"

i have never danced so hard as i did last night
and i can't help but smile when i think of it all

in other news: i've fully accepted the fact i cannot change someone and that is a great feeling
