My landlord is up to his annoying antics again. Recently, he hid the liquid soap in our sink because he did not want us to use it. Imagine that! $2 worth of soap and he takes the effort of actually sticking a note on it that says "Do not use!" The past two months came and went. There were some highlights such as our week-long induction in Kuala Lumpur last September. I find it ironic that people are confiding in me about their future plans and seeking my advice when I can't even manage to get my act together!

Today, I had my coaching session with my assigned mentor, the COO. One good thing about this bank is that the executives are approachable, and we even get to spend a lot of time interacting with them. Yesterday was a real horror. I made a mistake by taking my usual route home despite the downpour. As I approached the UST area, I saw that all the side streets were flooded and that I didn't really have any choice as to where to go. I couldn't turn back the car at that point either. I remember well this type of madness that I used to encounter on a regular basis while on the Muni Bus. I remember sitting there as a passenger and seeing those weirdos coming aboard.
