I like driving late at night. Why? No traffic. That's why I wait to drop off paperwork and mail my Netflix until around 1:00 AM. Hell, sometimes I just zip around Lafayette only because I am able to zip. To a lesser extent, I enjoy walking at night. Very quiet and such. But if I were a cop, I'd be one of the first ones to lose my gun because ( Read more... )

When I see a gathering of cops in some random parking lot around Lafayette, it makes me wish I was a cop, so I could be in the know about whatever young hooligans are about to get an ass beating or super important politicians driving through Lafayette that need a security escort.

Then I think about the other 99% of a cop's job, and thank myself I'm not a cop.

Cops have the power to make people pay, that's what makes me jealous. Being a bitch? You're arrested. Don't wanna be arrested? Here comes a beating. Oh and you're still getting arrested.

Yeah, but being a cop means you pretty much have authority on 99% of the populace and that includes the mother fuckers making more money than you. I'm sure you know how rich white folk cower in the face of the law.

That reminds me of how pretty much as soon as there's a cop car driving down the street, everyone remembers how to fucking drive. Think about that. The mere sight of the police is enough to turn even the shittiest of Lafayette's drivers into decent. Why? It's fear. Much like in highschool where everyone's asshole would tighten up when the teacher would start getting serious. But unlike highschool, cops can arrest/beat/inflict actual consequences upon the ones that don't take the hint.

And you get to use a gun. Think about it, who's more prepared when the zombies come? Pistol on the hip and shotgun in the car, not to mention all that backup just a radio away.
