I will be an R.D. a year from now.
So my fate is sealed. I got accepted into my dietetic internship at URI. I am officially One of the Eight. I am glad because obviously my only alternative completely failed. I'm frustrated. Mostly because I just got into an argument with my brother for nothing, and a little because I am angry at myself for... I don't know what. Stars of night turned deep to dust...
So my first review is of The Red Stripe in Narragansett. I went there for lunch, today, with Melanie. She had a salmon caesar salad and I tried their trademark moules and frites. I thought that my life would be better by now, but it's not and I don't know where to turn.
Ugh. I am so annoyed by CJ. Pretty much every single day. Why am I still with this guy? Am I going to look back one day and wonder why I wasted X amount of years on him? Richard is going to be around since he's going to Roger Williams law this fall, James is coming home from Iraq next week, I got back in touch with my Chef buddy Ryan, and I just found out that I am the RIDA's Honored Graduate of the year and recipient of a $500 scholarship (fortunately, it's not pending ( Read more... ) -

I feel nauseated. Why? Because I am 85% sure that I am going to fail a class this semester. Damn being forced into this molecular bio class with Norris! I studied for 15 hours in preparation for the last exam and got a pathetic 71. Ok. Seriously. This is the Worst Week Ever. Ok. So it is only the Worst Week Ever because of me. I mean, I do have 2 exams, 2 lab reports to write, and 60 projects to correct by Friday, but once I learned of "Lost In Austen," I just had to watch the bloody thing. I would 100% leave Chris for an Architect. Gosh, reading all of these historical romance novels have left me thinking about my deepest hopes and dreams.
