2 disturbing things:

1. I got attacked by ants in the library

2. My toenail on my middle toe of my left foot fell off! the entire thing! talk about a rip-off!

I just got notified that I received the udall scholarship, which = $5,000, a trip to AZ from Aug. 2-6, and the distinction of being a student commited to the environment and the legacy of good ol' senator udall. woo hoo!!

ok - so a while ago i tried to upload pictures to snapfish to make a photo album but of course my camera batteries died in the process and now all the pictures that i had uploaded have disappeared from my camera memory card - and these were of course all my best pictures. any ideas on how to get the pics back or are they lost forever?

today has been an extremely annoying day. ALL the buses in ecuador are on strike! so here I am in Ecuador. I just left the bio station yesterday.
