I went to a concert tonight, by Phil and Pam Boulding, known collectively as Magical Strings. They're a husband-and-wife duo that mostly play harp and dulcimer, both traditional celtic and original music. I signed the contract today. Also, I wrote a very large check.

Mostly, I'm fine, but there might have been some hyperventilating earlier and I think I'm still a bit shellshocked.

I seem to be buying a house. Like, for real.

So, despite the fact that my current boss has a hard time focusing on my face rather than my chest while talking to me in person, he respects my knowledge, my intelligence, and my ability to do my job.

I'm willing to accept this tradeoff. It's an improvement over the reverse.

I really want these.

Anybody know how much bamboo cabinets cost, in general? About par with other kinds of wood, or more?
