I still have my first library card. I've never moved or lost it so my library card has this ridiculous little kid scrawl on it. It's pretty funny. They are one of the most important cards one can have!!

All my kids have their own library cards, but I prefer to check out all books on mine so I can keep track. Even then, I'm always paying late fees. lol

Late fees: I hear you! I actually like to check my books out under John's card because he's so much better at returning the books and telling me when they're due.

My library card get used, almost abused, way more than my credit card. We've been known to have 80+ books checked out at one time.

I love Jerry Spinelli. Love him!

It's good to hear about a card getting a good work out. It's easy to spot an avid library card user: Look for the huge tote bag she's carrying!
