This sounds very similar to Wicked Faire (which is like an adult ren faire in upstate NJ I am going to in 2 weeks). Last year, they had amazing difficulties with the hotel after it changed management. They spent a lot of money on a lawyer and were afraid every moment the hotel would shut them down. Funny, it was a Holiday Inn also. Luckily, they are in a much better, more open-minded hotel this year.

CJ and I almost went to Wicked Faire this year but things didn't work out. We will try for next year.
