Ok, I lied
In the post under this one, I said I wasn't going to watch the Superbowl, but I ended up watching part of it. What struck me funny was how the sports casters pronounced New Oreans.
In the North they pronounce it New Or-lee-ans.
In the South (Louisianna in particular) we pronounce it New Ahh-lins or Naw-lins.
This had me cringing all night. -
I love my doggie
So the other night I was just sitting at home chilling out after a rather stressful day (I'll tell about that in another post) when all of the sudden I hear my little Jack Russel growling furiously and then sounds of a fight, my dog had caught a possum (ugh) in my kitchen, this possum was almost as big as he is, but he killed that sucker!
