I've added you to my friends list. I am sure you know more about wood Elves than I do. And you are a far better writer. I would love to share the learning experience with you. I love Elves be they Wood Elves, or Noldor. Please add me to your friends list as well. I'm grateful that you contacted me and honored to have you on my friend list. It pains me to say you will find my writing very amateur, but everyone has to make a start somewhere. I've only been writing for about 2 months. If I might recomend the author Los Gloriol here at Live Journal or on LotR fan fiction, you will find she is a peerless writer of first age. Any Tolkien lover owes themselves the joy of reading her. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Great to hear from you, Lissea! I've friended you, too. :-)

Now why, I wonder, does one suspect that you are being much too modest about your knowledge of Wood-elves as well as your writing skills?

(Personally, I write despite my lack of skills: if you think I'm a good writer because of the MEFAs, I'd have to disappoint you: am pretty certain that people simply liked the ideas in my stories, because I'm just not very good at the technical part of it. And being ESL doesn't exactly help, either.)

You say you've only been writing for 2 months? That's great! I bet you read some great fanfic and became inspired to try your hand at it yourself - or read some absolutely horrid ones and thought, 'Hey, I can do better than that!'. Or, most likely, both. XD

I only started writing a couple of years ago, so that's one more thing we have in common: we're late beginners.

I look forward to getting to know you!
