Spending the night with my fiance.  :-)  Makes me happy.  We watched "The Soloist"  together.  It was a touching movie.  Perhaps it is the best known example of not judging someone just by outward appearances.  I work with the elderly, and I see a lot of dementia and Alzheimer's.  The brain is affected, normal function reverts back to child-like ( Read more... )

Friday night, and I'm home by myself.  Mom and Meghan went to Chicago, and Dad is out of town.  So it's just me and the pooch this weekend.  Tommy will be coming over of course, but tonight he's not feeling well so I won't have company until tomorrow.  Makes for somewhat of a lonely evening for me.  I prefer having people around.

Wow.  So much has happened in six weeks.  It's amazing how fast and how slow life seems to go at the same time.
