I'M GOING TO EUROPE IN THREE DAYS.

I'm not at all ready and it hasn't even fully sunk in yet because I have been so busy trying to catch up on work before I go, but holy shit. We had kind of planned on going in June because Sara (gentleflower) was going to get married but then her mom got sick :( so they had to postpone the wedding until sometime

I am so excited for YOU! Take the two weeks, even if you're not in Europe the entire time, and breathe. Take it for you, because your life has been insane and you really, really deserve it.

Europe -- well, England, really -- has been my number one destination choice since I was seven, and Alex and I keep telling ourselves that whenever we do get married (you know, a thousand bajillion years from now), we should treat ourselves to a nice honeymoon provided we have the funds. He agreed to do England for me if I agreed to do Japan for him.

That said, smart choice on returning half of the clothes for a little extra spending money in Europe. Having the extra money while traveling, regardless of how far you are, is always a good thing.

I'm glad you get to see friends while you are there, too. I don't get the opportunity to see many now, so I know how special that is.

And, preemptively because YOU WILL BE IN EUROPE IN THREE DAYS, Happy Birthday!!!

Oh I am so stupid! Sara lives in the Netherlands! So we get to hit up three countries! Yes Sara is an LJ friend as well, we actually first connected over one of my fanvideos, such a long time ago!

Lol, I suspect that clothes will actually be a lot more expensive both in England and Paris? I have no idea about the Netherlands, though!
