Now. I am not a fan of Arthurian legend, because we all know how it ends. But the BBC's Merlin? Feels like maybe it isn't rushing headlong into an epic tragedy that will be told for thousands of years!
Possibly this is due to the slashdragon. It's hard to focus on inevitable doom when you can focus on a giant lizard telling a teenage boy he and the handsome prince are totally MFEO.
