On this fair warm September afternoon, Captain Jack Sparrow can be found walking very slowly through town with a bunch of colorful floating balloons in his hand and a thick sheaf of papers under his arm.
[Nagisa's just walking around town when she notices Jack. ..Or rather, when she notices the balloons. Why does that pirate man have so many balloons? ...They're kind of hard to ignore. So bright and colorful and all.]
Mistress Ching, scary? I suppose. She were rather kind to me when I was a little lad, but you wouldn't want to cross her. That would be the truth. A vicious marauder at bottom. Are there no hardened criminals in your Japan?
A-ahh, I guess so... I don't seem to have the exciting things that the other Japans or worlds have. But even so, I still love where I come from very much.

Seems like there's a lot of folks from Japan, here....

I noticed. But it seems like everyone is from different Japans. It's kind of weird.

I've never heard of any pirates coming to Japan, so maybe it was a different one!

Surely you've heard of Mistress Ching? She commanded the pirate territories of the east!

[Maybe more so than those things!]

Um, well, I can't think of anyone in particular, but I'm sure that there are. At least some of those kinds of people exist everywhere, don't they?

Do you like your home, Jack?

[Because both are slightly up in the air as far as how much he likes them at any given moment.]
