Dearest Saintly Mistress Raine--would you object if I were to pursue objectives of a nefarious and or black-bladed nature? I am whole in body once again.

Dear Captain Sparrow,

While I do not doubt that by now you are fit and ready to resume your usual activities, I do have to wonder just how nefarious these misdeeds of yours may become. In any case, I hope they will not prove too troublesome for everyone else involved.

I do hope you'll continue to read, in any case.

Dearest Raine,

Not so nefarious as I won't be able to fall into enchanting dreams in my new abode, what lacks beds.

Read something new last week: "A Tale of Two Cities." Bloody Brilliant.

Yours,

Jack

Captain Sparrow,

Good. It wouldn't be right for you to have all that time spent recovering undone, after all.

Is that so? I will have to add it to my list.

[There happens to be a tall, dark, and possibly handsome man approaching the bridge, wearing a ludicrously styled jacket. He's carrying a few bags; one looks to be full of bottles of some kind, and there's definitely books in another. It seems that he's currently unaware of any pirates in the vicinity. :|a]

[Tall? Dark? Handsome? Sparrow cares not for these things at all. Bottles, though? Bottles are good. There might be rum in those bottles.]

Pardon me, good sir, but might those be bottles?

...Yes. [mr. sparrow your eyesight is clearly unmatched.]

And might there be anything of a rum-ish nature in those bottles, old chap?

[And here's the humble sage returning from another day of searching for new feathers in the forest. He's kind of forgotten about the ole pirate's marauding habits for the moment...]

[Robbing Saleh would be more fun except for two things: 1) the man never has anything worthwhile on him and 2) the ensuing guilt trip.

Sigh.

Jack steps out from hiding to accost him, anyway.]

Citizen of Luceti, it is I, Captain Jack Sparrow, here to plunder your pockets! Do you yield?

[Saleh steps back, slightly startled.]

...Jack? No, I will not yield.

It has been a while since I've seen you around these parts.

Aye, well, I've been out and about. I'm not living in the old place, anymore, got myself a new one down by the lake.

...

And yes you will yield! Who's the pirate, here?!

[If Jack is still haunting the bridge after dusk, he may find himself being snuck up upon. Derek is out and about, finally feeling somewhat capable of being mobile after his return from death. Whether or not he's out with the blessings of his housemates remains to be seen, but that's another matter for later.

...Right now, he's using his skill as both a hunter, and his instincts as not-quite-a-vampire, to sneak up on the pirate from behind.]

[Jack's left nostril is twitching. He reaches up to smush a hand against his nose, but then the hand starts twitching. So he smushes the other hand there, too, holding his frantically twitching nose.

None of this has anything whatsoever to do with Derek, but it might make it far easier than ever to sneak up on the pirate, who is muttering "bugger bugger bugger BUGGER" under his breath and trying to quiet the nose down.]

[And Derek will definitely take that distraction to get even closer. Once he's close enough to notice the whole twitch dance thing, though, he'll stop, cocking his head to the side.]

...What the hell are you doing, Jack?

[Over active nose, meet over-glowing eyes...]

How about not being nefarious?

Dear Beautiful Sheena:

Why not? We could speak of your profession though I know you'd rather avoid that in such a public forum.

In Admiration,

Jack

Because nefarious kinda implies doing...bad things.

Dearest Sheena:

Not implies; very directly states my purpose in engaging in said "bad things."
