Yesterday was my first day teaching at my new school. In true Japanese fashion, I got told pretty late the day before I was supposed to go. I guess the bonus of that was that my lessons were planned for me. I had to wake up super early yesterday to meet a teacher at the train station. This new school is a good hour away by car/train. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I think that weekends should officially be 3 days. 4 days of working and 3 days holiday. What an eventful weekend it’s been. One that I will probably not forgot in a long time! On Friday night I had dinner with a few people in order to commemorate the departure of one of the Japanese teachers who is leaving to Canada. I swear, this past week has gone by slower than usual. Ive been sitting at my desk doing absolutely nothing except planning adult classes, reading my novel, chatting on msn, emailing, occasionally getting up to walk around, more emails, more reading and yeh..thats it. Well, as usual, its been an eventful last few days. I've been so busy and i don't understand why. I'm still sick as well.
