The longing was so strong it was coming off the tv screen in waves. Her hand sliding off over his heart, the way Clark was looking down at her - taking her in - it was so sensual and moving.
You could practical feel them wanting each other - and I've never been a Clana fan.
Through all the lies and the doubts and shit that went with their relationship - there was something there that was genuine no matter what they tell themselves or what comes next.
Yes! Yes! Yes! A thousand times Yes!
Clark sure sounded hurt and resentful of that to me.
He did. Clark wanted Lex to love him and be interested in him for himself, not because of what he could do.
I adore this review. It's probably a good thing that Smallville is usually mediocre because if it was as good as this episode was all the time, my heart would probably explode.

I'm starting to get over it but I've despised Clana since day one and I was blown away by how sexy that scene was. Who knew they could do that?!
I hate the idea that Clark and Lex were never really friends and that it was all lies and manipulation and selfishness on Lex's part. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT. Plus it's not consistent with the show (not that consistency means much LOL). THEY WERE FRIENDS!
It's probably a good thing that Smallville is usually mediocre because if it was as good as this episode was all the time, my heart would probably explode. - Yeah, the show makes me ridiculously happy in it's crappiness and the crappiness is part of the reason I love it but. I can't even imagine how I would react to it being an honest to god 'good' show. Heart explosions would definitely be part of it ♥

The comments on the pretty are more or less the only things I have to offer when it comes to this fandom. - Generally? I think that's what 99% of this fandom has to offer as well It pleases me/cracks me up so much that you come and comment on my Smallville ramblings. YOU ARE TOO ADORABLE.
I really did think I was over the White Stripes (who were my actual first love and the ones that led me to the Strokes) but as soon as I heard Jack's tell tale guitar and Meg's drumming, that was it!

It hit me in the gut almost as hard as the Clex, except unlike the Clex it made me happy (the Clex made me happy too but happy with a side order of THROW MYSELF OFF A CLIFF) and I have zero desire to see them work it out. They need to be kept impossibly apart like this, it suits them.
