Miriam is 3 months now. I was telling Joe that I wish maternity leave would start now instead because I'm enjoying her so much more these days. What a joy our daughter is. Well, she is two months old! It's amazing to watch her. She is so much fun. And I'm sorry to say to some of my friends who had a hard time, she's really easy going and mellow - kind of how she was inside mom's tummy! being late and bedrest
Okay, so she is offically 3 days late.
And I'm on bedrest.
Why aren't they inducing me - a lot of people are asking me.
It's just my blood pressure. My blood work both times last week came back fine. After 20-30 min of rest, my blood pressure was fine. The nurse practitioner that I saw said that my dr is not as conservative as the others. I expect ( Read more... ) -
end of the month update - trying to get things done
Yep, so much done, yet so much to do in so little time.
We are about 6.5 weeks away from my due date. Everything with us is going well. Our last ultrasound looked great. Her kidney's are both functioning correctly, so we probably won't see her until we can actually hold her. On July 14th - they said that she weighed 3 lbs 7 oz.

Now our little girl moves quite more often these days. I'm so thankful that she doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night, but she is very active any time after 8pm, she's pretty consistant. June update
So, I am now in my third trimester and I'm beginning to understand the uncomfortableness of pregnancy. This weekend, Joe and I went up north to Duluth for our 5th anniversary. First Shower! What a blessing
Today was my first shower - at school. As I said before, there are two of us who are due within 10 days of each other. It's interesting, we have so much in common. Sorry, I haven't posted, but have wanted to and so much to post!
Two weeks ago, we had our ultrasound. That was probably the most amazing thing I had ever seen! Wow! You can see everything! The big burly ultrasound guy was fabulous! Joe would ask lots of questions and he would show us everything and tell Joe all that he could see. He pointed out the femur and it looked just like a femur. We saw the heart beating ( Read more... )
