being late and bedrest

Okay, so she is offically 3 days late.

And I'm on bedrest.

Why aren't they inducing me - a lot of people are asking me.

It's just my blood pressure. My blood work both times last week came back fine. After 20-30 min of rest, my blood pressure was fine. The nurse practitioner that I saw said that my dr is not as conservative as the others. I expect

we didn't get bedrest, but we did go 2 weeks "late". went into labor the morning of the appointment, so we had them call the clinic from the hospital to cancel ;-) don't worry, late is not really late until 3-4 weeks. average term is 38-42 weeks so really you're not late until 43 weeks. i am sure even i would get bored of nothing after a while, but it would certainly take longer. i love to sit and relax. maybe a few movies (you are on netflix if i recall). maybe some projects like the flag you are working on. knitting of course, although that can get to be pretty hot depending on the project size.

and of course you can sit and imagine how awesome it will be when she comes into your lives. a great change, but still an adjustment. enjoy the rest and quiet while you can. ;-)
