Weird Food of the Day

My friend D. went to Ljubliana recently, and returned bearing some local chocolate for me and friend G. One of them was a slab of dark chocolate with red peppercorns in it; G claimed it instantly, while I was happy to go with what seemed like the safer option (though I still want to try the pepper chocolate when G opens it). We don't have proper pretzels (laugenbretzeln, the big fat soft ones with saltencrusting and butter) in the UK, or at least not anywhere I've found them). I'm a salt-junkie...

I do a lot of things sweet + sour (milk chocolate finger biscuits with Thousand Island dressing; white chocolate ones with salsa...), and I like salt. Lots of salt...
