I love those boys! (even if I'm not into the Rodney/Merlin thing that much, and would like some kind of "Rodney meeting Merlin and they start to fight about which is the best, science or magic" XD but this was awesome! :D)

John's eyes narrowed and he allowed the left corner of his mouth to slide upwards in something that might soon approximate a smirk.
Arthur blinked before his mouth opened in an 'o', eyes lighting up not with the inner fire of magic or parasitic infection but of mischief.
"You don't think-" John started, pointing to Arthur and letting the sentence trail off.
"It would be entirely irresponsible," Arthur replied primly, hands fingering the hilt of his sword and ghost of a smile playing across his features.
"Yes-" Merlin interjected from the side, distracted from his deep and meaningful conversation with Rodney about Jedi powers and their influence on the public perception of telekinesis. "Whatever you're talking about, it really would be."
"But I *can* swim exceedingly well," Arthur continued, eyes still locked on John's.
"Me too!" John moved closer to Arthur, turning to Rodney. "Didn't I tell you we had loads in common ( ... )
