So...tonight my father told me I'm getting "fat". At the dinner table. In front of my mother and my husband. I just had to look at him and say, "What?!" Then I turned to my mother, "Did he really just say that to me?" He then told me I'm getting "thick" and I warned the pot not to call the kettle black ( Read more... ) -

Update on Ben
As most of you know, Ben was in a car wreck on Feb. 25 and ended up having surgery on his thusly broken ankle the following Thursday. They put two screws in his ankle to hold the broken bone together while it heals ( Read more... ) -

OK, I know I'm at work, but the children are working in groups on poetry analysis and I'm keeping an eye or ear on them. But I have to purge this out of my system or I will scream.
