I am still registered to vote in Ohio. So I applied for my absentee ballot on time and successfully received it in the mail, all of which I was very proud of. But for some reason I had it in my head that I just had to mail it by Nov. 4th. So, this morning I opened up the ballot to discover that it had to be post-marked by yesterday, Nov. 3rd. Yesterday I rediscovered the best place in my hometown: the public library. It's wonderful, why have I not been hanging out there all summer? I set up in the "quiet room" because I get my own desk where I can lay out my laptop, notebook, binder, iPod, and whatever else I need and nobody bothers me. I went to my first ever hookah bar tonight. It was just like any other bar where the music is too loud to talk to the people around you and when a guy wants to dance with a girl all he has to do is put his hands on her hips and wait until she backs into him and they grind.
