Ok... so Kris and I stopped at a Bridal botique and looked at the "actual" colour swatch. I'm relieved it looks like it's supposed to. I just have to make sure that my sister and Kris' sister get dresses from the same dye lot. ...

So, the new job starts today. Same company, different department. The problems are a) there isn't enouogh space so I don't have a desk and b) they don't currently have a task for me. I'm used to being busy all the time, so this is a little odd. I'm sure it won't take long for them to be piling work on me... I hope. Everyone is really nice so far, ( Read more... )

Tonight is Halloween and there are hardly any kids. There were no pumpkins at the store so all that I could find was a cheesy plastic one in which the light bulb is burned out. I tied it up outside with thread to the mailbox. *sigh*

Happy Santa Claus Parade day! I watched a bit of it on TV, but it's not the same! I didn't see anyone I knew either... :P Work is driving me up the wall. It seems like I never have enough time, even though I have 4 days off for every 4 days on. Part of is that I'm spending a lot of time at Kris' and not getting my own place set up. I miss my cats! Thursday again! I've totally been swamped. My essay finally got handed in Tues. Should have been in Thurs but the prof had pity on me... Everything's been kind of screwed up.
