We took a few days off last week to prepare the garden beds and shop for new flowers. The trip to Mahoney's was a blast. One of the prize finds (by Andrew) were the black violas! I'm still trying to figure out where to plant them.
He's so darn overweight that he can't groom himself properly. The fur on his back got ferociously tangled as a consequence, and the vet's office had to shave it off. That happened last fall, but his fur is taking its sweet time growing back in.
We've tried to cut back on his food intake, but the sneaky jerk just steals from the other ferals' meals. He even covers up the bowls to hide them for later.
It's possible that Elephant Head is afraid that the flowers might get more attention than him, and he's thinking he may have to take them out just in case.
