I know, I know, I haven't updated in what, three months? four? Well, my apologies, but my lack of updating isn't likely to change much. I finally got around to getting a journal, so now my rambling thoughts are recorded on paper rather than the internet. Also, you're much more likely to get in touch with me through facebook or email than ( Read more... )

I second jetfx's motion! However I realise that LJ is not for everyone, as much as I wish that that weren't the case.

I heard a rumour that you'd be coming back here next year. Is there any truth in that or is it just wishful thinking? I miss our random discussions about old-school weaponry.

Alas, it is just wishful thinking, as much on my part as anyone else's. Though I'm looking in to stopping by in early-mid september for a week or so.. But duty calls me to Dublin next year, and quite likely the year after that, and I can't really do my last year abroad..

Well as long as you're having a good time and I can shake my fist at you from this side of the Atlantic. But a visit would be cool, I'm sure that we have a comfortable couch for you to sleep on.

Speaking of visits, I'm going to Indiana the weekend after next! yay! OK, so I know this doesn't have anything to do with your post, but I had to say it.
Marley and Miles refused to negotiate for the afikomen and Alban asked for 3 coins (he got 12 cents). I think our father got off easy this year.

It's hard for me to say that this comment just made my day, because it's absolutely beautiful weather here in Dublin, life is good, friends I haven't seen in nearly a month are all around and I just drank some strawberry milk (you wouldn't like it, but I think it's lovely). Yet, the image of Alban holding out for three coins is absolutely brilliant, and I will treasure it forever, or at least until I fall asleep and forget about it. Happy Pesach, and I'm glad Mommy is clean for passover. Have fun in Indiana! What brings you out there?
