i smell a tiny bit of fall in the air. i love fall sooo much. it inspires nostalgia and reflection and total contentment all at the same time. and it smells so good. i forgot how nice the forest preserve smells in fall.

i'm pooped. nothing like feeding animal parts into a grinder and sticking three pronged rods through chickens to put me in touch with my own mortality.

mama maya and i are going to go job hunting together.

i applied for an americorps job. it sounds too perfect for me to actually exist.

i was pretty convinced that my finances were totally down the tubes, especially considering i may be unemployed soon. but i got good news in the mail today. first, my bank statement, showing that even after paying all the doctor's bills for the blood tests and everything i managed to make a little more this month than i spent. not by much. but that ( Read more... )

something is going on with my voice. last night it felt scratchy. and today it keeps switching around. sometimes when i talk it feels all vibraty and rumbly in my chest (this is the new voice) and sometimes it sounds like my regular voice and doesn't rumble in my chest. i dont think the new voice actually sounds any different but it sure feels ( Read more... )
