People always say that if you want something to work you make it work, and if you love someone it will but that is just not true. I mean not completely true, I guess if you love someone it works in it’s own way. Romance fades, people grow apart, and they change. Yeah I heard about you and Giovanni, it's a bummer but its part of life. Change can be devastating but also helpful in building character, just remember that there was life before Giovanni. The feeling of loss is important, some people never feel it. Hence, they never know or feel real joy or true gaining. They float aimlessly, they have no merit, or real entitlement to ones self. Like the banks of a river, or a deep ocean shelf. Carved by the currants. Rivers and tides my friend, we're all just rivers and tides- parts that are connected and are lead to the same ocean.

dude, have you been reading the tao or something? youre so zen. its awesome. refreshing in so many ways. i reallllly wanna smoke weed with you and philosophize life and shiiiiit. you should just do it- the first few times you might not like it, like beer, but then you start to love it. and maybe only in certain situations or whatever....anyways, whatever about the weeds. the important thing is that you have such a well-maintained and conscious perspective in the midst of what must totally suck in some ways. hell yeah sister.*

Yeah, I want to start going out more. I got stuck in what my friend referred to as "boyfriend land." Last night I went to a party, it was terrible. Fights, coke, drama, and drunken debauchery was unfolding before my eyes. Luckily for me I got a phone call from an old friend who understands me, he’s always been really good for venting- I was on the phone most of the night.

But no, I haven’t been reading any Tao shit. I am always dealing with this kind of disappointment, I guess I’m tired of looking at everything one dimensionally, when you step back and look at things in perspective they’re not nearly as dramatic. Yeah I am single again, that sucks- but being in a relationship that makes you feel even alone than being single is upside down. Logically it doesn't makes sense.

Yeah we should totally get together, call me whenever.
