Now that finals are over, my life can return to some semblance of normal that doesn't involve camping in the library for days, living solely off of vending machine food and convenience store coffee, and burying myself in books and papers covered in carefully annotated sticky notes.

But we're going for kind of a laid-back vibe, so 18th century is pretty much out. I'm leaning towards something sort of floaty and lacy and 1930s-esque.

I really liked the place you used to work--though not being employed there myself, I probably can't adequately imagine all the scut, and am being unduly influenced by the deliciousness, which is pretty irrelevant to the working experience. Very glad you like your new job better, and even gladder that you're happier.
