Back in November, I saw a kid of high school age drop money while getting on the bus. He appeared aware of having dropped it, but left it behind, no doubt out of concern for prompt boarding. Since I'd seen him several times before at the same stop, I figured it would be cool to keep the quarter and save it for the next time I saw him. I

I'm really glad his reaction didn't make me feel like a creepy person. It's a wonder I managed to bite the bullet, what with how weird I felt about doing it, but every time I saw that quarter I was reminded of what I hadn't done and was unable to do.

He kind of reminded me of my teenage cousins.
