Roy has passed on :-(
Not much else to say. Dr Currie worked very hard but sometime after I posted to LJ last night he passed in her arms. He had actually been coming around and lifting his head a little but had another seizure and it was simply too much. We fought a hard fight together and I'm thankful to have wonderful friends, wonderful husband, and wonderful vets ( Read more... ) -
Hoping and praying for a miracle...
For little Roy. He was a little under an ounce at birth and I tube fed him for weeks while travelling to see my mom (who could use some hopes and prayers too as she has Pancreatic Cancer). My neighbor Dee....
Has Sheltie pups. Bi-Blacks and Bi-Blues. How friggin cute they are without the tan! Ahhh! They are 4.5 weeks old and the size of Chihuahuas. They are insanely cute. And apparently Susie is The Puppy Whisperer because the really antisocial puppy adores her only. Oy. -

Lil D aka Diamond aka Crazy Diamond is doing ok still, zoomy as ever, gaining weight (how I'm not sure)...wound is healing super fast! She won't be able to show anytime soon but whatev, she is ok and that is of #1 priority. The only wierd thng is that she is not a piggy anymore and will not consume as much food as she was before the surgery. I ( Read more... ) -
Diamond's Surgery
This morning at 9am I dropped off my beloved little one Diamond at the vet for surgery. A few months ago when I tried giving them kibble (they eat raw) she had a pretty bad colic episode and when the distended tummy went away a tiny umbilical hernia remained. I know, shock, I am posting!
I'm not gonna rant for endless paragraphs like I usually do. But I will insert my weight loss goal thingy...I've lost 27lbs so far and have roughly 62-72 to lose to meet my goal... it may be as little as 50lbs if I gain alot of muscle eventually, but that's how much fatty tissue is really bogging me down right this minute.
